A woman who was struck while turning into an apartment complex is suing two Beaumont residents.
Candace Wallace filed suit against Keelan and Sandra Martin on Oct. 28 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on July 24 Wallace was attempting to turn from Dowlen Road into the Greentree Apartment complex when Keelan Martin allegedly negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and struck her.
The suit faults Sandra Martin, the owner of the vehicle, with negligent entrustment.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Clay Dugas represents her.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
