A father and his two minor sons have filed suit against two Port Neches residents for injuries they received in an automobile collision.
Norris Roberts, on behalf of Jordyn and Christopher Roberts, filed suit against Chelsea and Patricia Fountain on Nov. 1 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on July 19, 2010, the plaintiffs were traveling west in the 5600 block of an unspecified highway when Chelsea rear-ended them, pushing their vehicle into the vehicle in front of them.
The plaintiffs claim they injured their necks and backs in the collision.
The suit faults Chelsea with speeding and failing to keep a safe distance and also faults Patricia, the owner of the vehicle, with negligent entrustment.
The plaintiffs are suing for their alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Clay Dugas represents them.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
