Parking valet sued for $250,000 after hitting car

TYLER -- Seeking more than $250,000, a Jacksonville woman has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the employer of the parking valet that ran a truck into her vehicle.

Brenda Daniels filed suit against Eldorado Resorts, Eldorado Casino Shreveport Joint Venture doing business as Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport, Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport LLC and Ronald Restauro on Dec. 8 in the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on Dec. 18, 2010, when Daniels' vehicle was struck by defendant Restauro while he was attempting to park a vehicle. The defendants are also accused of failing to screen Restauro for hiring and for failing to properly train and supervise him.

Daniels is seeking an award of $250,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, attorney's fees and court costs.

The plaintiff is represented by Jeffery S. Clark of the Law Office of Jeffery S. Clark in Jacksonville and Longview attorney Charles van Cleef. A jury trial is requested.
