Arkansas company sued after company truck involved in collision

Erskine

MARSHALL - A 70-year-old Jacksonville resident has filed a lawsuit against an Arkansas company after one of the company's drivers drove a truck into this vehicle.

Anton Lustig filed suit against Hope AGRI Products Inc. on Jan. 5 in the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division.

The incident occurred on July 7 as Anton Lustig was driving a Ford F150 pickup truck southbound in the turn lane of U.S. Highway 69. Lustig claims that as he entered the intersection, Landien Renfro, driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck for the company, failed to yield the right of way and drove into the passenger side of Lustig's vehicle.

Renfro is accused of negligence for the manner in which he operated the company vehicle and Hope AGRI is legally liable for Renfro's actions.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for physical pain, mental anguish, medical expenses, physical impairment and interest.

Lustig is represented by Keith Miller of the Law Office of Keith Miller in Tyler and Blake C. Erskine of Erskine & McMahon in Longview.

U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap is assigned to the case.
