A Cypress woman is suing a League City carnival owner after, she says, she broke her nose at a local fair.

Cypress resident Ashley Stanley filed a lawsuit on Jan. 11 in Harris County District Court against League City resident James Reed, Jr., doing business as Reed Exposition Midways, and others, citing negligence.

Friendswood Denny's blamed for deadly fall

An estate is suing over claims an unsafe environment at the Friendswood Denny's caused the eventual death of a loved one.

Jesse Flores, on behalf of the deceased Alma Flores, filed a lawsuit on Jan. 13 in Harris County District Court against Denny's Inc., citing negligence.

Seabrook apartments, management company blamed for burglary

A Seabrook apartment complex and its management company are being sued over claims they failed to provide a tenant with a secure rental unit.

Amanda Vail filed a lawsuit Friday, Jan. 27 in Harris County District Court against Pirates Landing Apartments in Seabrook and Greystone Asset Management Co., citing negligence and breach of contract.
