Latest hurricane-related insurance suits filed in Jefferson County Courts

One new lawsuit against an insurer over Hurricane Ike damage claims has been filed in Jefferson County District Court, Feb. 20-24.

The following complaint was filed:

  • Toan Nguyen and Phuoc Tran of 2335 Park St. in Beaumont allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property following Hurricane Ike on Sept. 13, 2008. Nguyen and Tran will be represented by Orlando R. Lopez of The Lopez Law Firm in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: E191-991.
