Beaumont local Mary Cane has filed suit against Groves resident Shirley Duhan, alleging the defendant turned left from the center lane and caused an automobile collision.
The suit was filed Feb. 23 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on March 19, 2010, Cane was traveling north on Pennsylvania Avenue in Beaumont when Duhon attempted to make a left hand turn from the center lane and struck her.
