Lawsuit brought over 18-wheeler collision

Harris County resident Olga Guerra has filed suit against Top Flight Transportation, BHR Enterprises and Robert Knight Sr. for injuries she received in an 18-wheller collision.

The suit was filed March 2 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on March 1, 2010, Guerra was driving on Interstate 10 in Beaumont when an 18-wheller tractor trailer, owned by the company defendants and driven by Knight, changed lanes and collided with her vehicle.

The company defendants are faulted with negligent entrustment.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
