Mark Davis and Ona Bassett have filed suit against Fransisco Salazar-Carrillo for rear-ending a vehicle they were traveling in.
The suit was filed on April 16 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 30 Davis was traveling south on Highway 96 in Lumberton when he stopped his vehicle for traffic and was rear-ended by Salazar-Carrillo.
Bassett was a passenger in Davis' vehicle at the time of the incident.
The plaintiffs allege the defendant negligently caused the collision.
They are seeking an unspecified judgment.
