One new lawsuit was filed against an insurance company over a Hurricane Ike damage claim was filed in Jefferson County District Court, April 9-13, 2012.
The following complaint was filed:
Louis Sonn and Paula Sonn of 7495 Westhaven in Beaumont allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property during a severe windstorm on Aug. 23, 2010. The Sonns will be represented by Jason B. Speights, Todd Worrich and T. Nicole Littles of Speights and Worrich in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: D192-282.
