GALVESTON - Galveston resident Mark Williams has filed suit against Houston local Ardis Webber and Baton Rouge, La.-based Premier Concrete Products Inc. for injuries which he reportedly sustained two years ago.
According to a lawsuit filed April 11 in Galveston County Court at Law No. 1, Williams hurt himself as he assisted in unloading concrete mats on or about April 19, 2010.
The suit shows the mats came from a truck presumably belonging to and operated by the respondents.
"After unloading all of the concrete mats, the plaintiff began to climb down from the back of the truck," the original petition says.
"However, as the plaintiff was climbing down, the defendant began to drive away causing the plaintiff to fall off the back of the truck."
The suit does not elaborate on the injuries Williams suffered, but describes them as "severe."

Consequently, Williams seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
