HOUSTON - An issue with a food order has resulted in a personal injury lawsuit against Whataburger Restaurants.

Seeking up to $1 million in damages, Linda Perez filed her suit on April 14 in Harris County District Court, also naming MJM Private Security Services and John Doe as defendants.

According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 30, 2022, Perez was at a Houston Whataburger. MJM was contracted to provide security and employed Doe. She was inside the restaurant talking with an employee about an issue she had with her food order when Doe approached and attempted to make her leave, causing bodily injury.

The suit alleges the defendants negligently failed to train and supervise Doe.

Attorney Sarah Y-Nhi Huynh represents Perez.
