Two former United Unlimited Sales employees have filed suit against the company, seeking to recover unpaid commissions.
Keith Forsythe and Donnie Landry filed the suit Aug. 17 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, Forsythe wholesaled products for UUS through June 30 and Landry through March 15. Both of the plaintiffs' compensation agreements were for commissions based upon sales.
At the time Forsythe left his employment, UUS owed him no less than $55,500. Landry was owed at least $10,500 in commissions when he left.
"The amounts due by (defendant to plaintiffs) remain unpaid," the suit states, adding that UUS has breached its contract with the former employees.
The plaintiffs are suing for actual damages, interest and all court costs, including attorney's fees.
They are represented by Mississippi attorney Michael A. Heilman.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
