Wells Fargo Bank has filed suit against Bruce Venison and his company, CR Unlimited, seeking to recover more than $18,000 from a delinquent business line credit account.
The suit was filed Aug. 30 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, Wells Fargo extended to Venison a BusinessLine credit account, which he utilized and became bound to pay.
“Defendant ceased making payments on the account, thereby creating a default,” the suit states. “The last payment on the account was made on or about October 7, 2010.”
As of Oct. 18, 2010, the amount owed on the account was $18,776.30.
The suit accuses the defendant of breaching his contract.
Wells Fargo is suing for actual damages, interest and attorney’s fees.
Dallas attorneys Robert Jenkins and Jason Babb represent the bank.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
