Green Tree seeks possession of manufactured home

Seeking possession of a manufactured home, Green Tree Servicing has filed suit against James Puckett and Delores Rayburn.

The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 1, 1999, Puckett executed a manufactured home retail installment contract. He has since defaulted on his payments and failed to cure, breaching his contract.

As of Sept. 4, the amount owing on the home is $41,743.85.

Rayburn is in current possession of the manufactured him and has failed to vacate, the suit states.

Green Tree is asking the court to require a sheriff or constable to take possession of the manufactured home and deliver possession unto the company.

The plaintiff is represented by Addison attorney Richard McKinney of the Higier Allen & Lautin law firm.

Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
