Texas men sue for $200,000 following car wreck in Longview

MARSHALL - Two Texas men have filed a lawsuit for $200,000 claiming they suffered disabling injuries following a car wreck in Longview.

Rondell J. Wolfe and Roy Wolfe filed suit against Superior Well Services Inc. on Dec. 20 in the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division.

The collision occurred on Aug. 17 as the plaintiffs were traveling northbound on Judson Road in Longview when defendant Superior rear-ended the Wolfe vehicle.

The defendant’s driver is accused of negligence for failing to control his speed, failing to keep a proper look-out, failing to properly apply his brakes, failing to take proper evasive action in order to avoid a collision, failing to maintain an assured clear distance and for violating laws and ordinances.

The men are asking for more than $200,000 in damages for physical pain and mental anguish, medical expenses, lost wage earning capacity, physical impairment, disfigurement, physical impairment, disfigurement, interest and court costs.

The plaintiffs are represented by Longview attorneys Randy Akin and Gregory C. Burton of G.R. Randy Akin P.C. and attorney Terrence Allison. A jury trial is requested.

U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap is assigned to the case.
