The good times are rolling in Port Arthur for the 2013 Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas. Events begin tonight with the Courir du Mardi Gras parade and continue with parades Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Total Port Arthur Refinery is sponsoring the Aurora Grand Parade on Saturday night. In addition to parades, the event includes midway rides, food booths and a multitude of other attractions for the entire family. If that's not enough, live bands including The Sabine River Band, Pookie Marceaux Band, C.J. Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band and Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band will surely bring out the Cajun spirit! Area law firms Bearden & Bearden and McPherson Hughes Bradley Wimberley Steele & Chatelain are among dozens of local businesses sponsoring events.
