A total of one new lawsuit was filed in Jefferson County District Court against an insurance company during the week of Feb. 25 through March 1.
The following complaint was filed:
• Jermire Roberts of 2801 15th St. in Port Arthur alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Agency denied his claim for damages caused to his property during Hurricane Ike on Sept. 8, 2013. Roberts will be represented by Mitchell A. Toups of Weller, Green, Toups and Terrell in Beaumont and by J. Steve Mostyn of The Mostyn Law Firm in Houston. Jefferson County District Court case number: A193-980.
