Brazos Forest Products has filed suit against Wes Vice Hardwoods and Supply and Norma Vice, alleging the defendants owe nearly $20,000 for delivered goods.
The suit was filed April 11 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, the defendants requested BFP to provide milled wood and wood products under a credit agreement. The amount owing for the delivered wood products is $19,817.72, plus applicable interest.
“Defendants, however, did not pay the amounts due and owing,” the suit states, adding that the defendants breached their personal guarantee.
The plaintiff is suing for actual damages, interests and attorney’s fees.
Austin attorney Richard Villa of Streusand, Landon & Ozburn represents the plaintiff.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
