GALVESTON - Blazer Inspection Inc. pursues legal action in response to an alleged $30,000 debt owed to it by Absolute Pipeline Maintenance & Consulting, Inc.
Recent court papers filed April 17 in Galveston County Court at Law No. 1 assert that Absolute Pipeline is delinquent on $29,860.66 for inspection sevices performed more than two years ago.
The defendant hired Blazer in the summer of 2011 to inspect the welds on its various pipes.
The project, which took months, included materials, labor, mileage, per diem expenses and other charges "that are customary to the industry" alongside the aforementioned services.
According to the original petition, Absolute Pipeline "has not made any payments on the debt owed."
"All of the amounts owed by Absolute Pipeline are past due by more than one year," the suit says.
Blazer additionally claims the respondent has ignored its demands to discuss the debt.
Attorney Lindsay J. Glover of Mills Shirley L.L.P. in Houston is representing the complainant, and Galveston County Court at Law No. 1 Judge John Grady is presiding over the case.
