One new lawsuit against an insurance company over a Hurricane Ike damage claim was filed in Jefferson County District Court, June 3-7, 2013.
The following complaint was filed:
• Joseph and Jo Ann Guarnere of 189 Hilldale Drive in Nederland claim State Farm Lloyds denied their claim for roof, structural, water and wind damages caused to their home when Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The Guarneres will be represented by Justin G. Sanderson of Sanderson Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: A194-419.
