HOUSTON - Complaining that he was fired from the Superior Plus group for having prostate cancer, Chico, Calif., resident Larry Breidinger has filed a lawsuit.

Recent court documents filed July 2 in Houston federal court state Breidinger was reportedly mistreated because of his health issues.

Breidinger was employed as a Houston-based district manager for the defendant's Winroc division when he was diagnosed with cancer.

The suit explains that the illness and subsequent surgery to treat it resulted in serious complications and side effects, saying the plaintiff began to experience substantial limitations in the functioning of his genitourinary and reproductive systems.

According to the original petition, Breidinger's supervisors made "offensive and harassing" comments to the complainant regarding incontinence and sexual dysfunction.

It further recalls an incident in which Breidinger lost control of his bladder during dinner with one of his supervisors.

Said supervisor then purportedly told the plaintiff that the cancer was "bull****", the suit says.

Breidinger asserts the respondent did not accommodate his health-related requests.

He was dismissed on Feb. 20, 2012, for an apparent lack of ability to perform his job duties.

The suit argues the defendant prevented the complainant from landing a new job with another company.

A jury trial is requested.

Attorney G. Scott Fiddler of the Law Office of G. Scott Fiddler P.C. in Houston is representing Breidinger.
