Financial corporation seeks possession of manufactured home

A financial corporation has filed suit against the Beaumont woman who it claims defaulted on her contract.

Green Tree Servicing alleges Rachel A. Berryhill executed a contract with it on May 5, 2001. In case of default, Green Tree Servicing holds a security interest in Berryhill’s 2001 Schult Secura-Guard manufactured home, according to the complaint filed Aug. 12 in Jefferson County District Court.

Since then, Berryhill has defaulted on the contract, the suit states.

In its complaint, Green Tree Servicing is seeking possession of her manufactured home, plus other relief the court deems just.

B. Bruce Johnson, Jamie E. Silver, James H. Morgenstern and Natalie D. Paul of Johnson and Silver in Dallas will be representing it.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
