The plaintiff is asking the court for an award of damages, enhanced damages, interest and attorney’s fees.

• NovelPoint Tracking v. Hyundai Motor Co. Case 2:13-cv-00690

NovelPoint Tracking is a Texas limited liability company with its principal place of business in Allen.

The defendants are accused of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 6,442,485 issued Aug. 27, 2002, for Method and Apparatus for an Automatic Vehicle Location, Collision Notification and Synthetic Voice.

The plaintiff is asking the court to enjoin the defendants from further infringement and for an award of damages, enhanced damages, attorney’s fees, interest and court costs.

• Activision TV Inc. v. Cinemark USA Inc. Case No. 2:13-cv-00692

Activision is a corporation organized under the laws of Delaware with its principal place of business in Naples, Fla.

The defendant is accused of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 7,369,058 issued May 6, 2008, for Remote Control Electronic Display System; and U.S. Patent No. 8,330,613 issued Dec. 11, 2012, for Remote Control Electronic Display System.

Activision is asking the court to enjoin the defendant from further infringement and for an award of damages, enhanced damages, interest, court costs and attorney’s fees.

The plaintiff is represented by Jennifer Parker Ainsworth of Wilson, Robertson & Cornelius PC in Tyler.

U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap is assigned to the case.

 

• Schlumberger Technology Corp. v. Weatherford International Case No. 2:13-cv-00693

Schlumberger is a Texas corporation having a principal place of business in Sugar Land.

The defendant is accused of infringing on U.S. Patent Nos. 7,322,417 issued Jan. 29, 2008, for Technique and Apparatus for Completing Multiple Zones; and U.S. Patent No. 7,377,321 issued May 27, 2008, for Testing, Treating, or Producing a Multi-zone Well.

The plaintiff is asking the court for an injunction and for an award of damages, attorney’s fees, interest and court costs.

Lake Cherokee Hard Drive Technologies v. Marvell Asia Pte. Ltd et al Case No. 2:13-cv-00695

Plaintiff Lake Cherokee is a Texas limited liability company.

The defendant is accused of infringing on U.S. Patent Nos. 5,844,738 issued on Dec. 1, 1998, for Synchronous Read Channel Employing a Sequence Detector with Progammable Detector Levels; and U.S. Patent No. 5,978,162 issued Nov. 2, 1999, for Synchronous Read Channel Integrated Circuit Employing a Channel Quality Circuit for Calibration.

The plaintiff is seeking an award of compensatory damages, enhanced damages, court costs, attorney’s fees and interest.
