Orange County resident Joseph Cascio Jr. is suing Ironman Express and one of its employees, Bradley West, who allegedly caused an automobile collision.

The suit was filed Sept. 11 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on June 27 Cascio sustained injuries due to the negligence of Ironman’s driver, West, who was operating a tractor-trailer when he caused an automobile collision.

The suit does not state where or how the collision was caused.

However, the suit does fault Ironman with negligent entrustment and also accuses West of negligently failing to control his speed and keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment and lost wages.

Beaumont attorney Trenton Bond of Portner Bond represents the plaintiff.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 60th District Court, is assigned to the case.

Case No. B194-726
