GALVESTON - Neurosentinal Group LLC filed a lawsuit against Metro Utility Distribution Solutions Inc. in the wake of their purportedly deteriorated relationship, recent court documents say.
Neurosentinal's suit, filed Sept. 16 in Galveston County District Court, claims MUDS is trying to recover funds for services it allegedly provided to the plaintiff.
The suit argues that Neurosentinal is not indebted to the defendant.
The complaining company was formed by F. Craig Schweitzer and Colin Vadheim in July 2012.
Both men owned 50 per cent of Neurosentinal, and more than six months later, the claimant granted MUDS new membership, which was made possible by Schweitzer and Craig's reduction in owner percentage.
To date, the respondent contributed approximately $20,000 of cash capital and some of its designated agents' work, the original petition says.
It further explains that the entities' working relationship took a turn for the worse, stating Neurosentinal called a special meeting last month which MUDS reportedly failed to attend.
Schweitzer and Craig voted to remove the defendant.
According to the suit, MUDS subsequently denied the plaintiff's access to its online accounting software last month as well as notified the latter's accountant in writing that they are no longer responsible for its books.
NeuroSentinal adds it received a letter from MUDS calling for payment in the amount of $375,898.
The suit ultimately insists that the respondent holds no shares in the complainant's venture.
Consequently, NeuroSentinal seeks no more than $300,000 in damages.
It is represented by attorney Shari Goldsberry of Goldsberry & Associates PLLC in League City.
Galveston County 405th District Court Judge Michelle Slaughter is presiding over the litigation.
