SHERMAN - An account analyst has filed a lawsuit against his former employer claiming the employer violated federal law by not paying overtime wages.
Dejena Lherisson filed suit against NCR Corp. on Sept. 20 in the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division on Sept. 20.
Lherisson worked for the defendant from May 19, 2006, through May 19, 2011, as an account analyst in Dallas. The plaintiff claims that the defendant willfully failed to pay one and one-half times his regular rate of pay for each overtime hour worked.
The defendant is accused of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act for not paying overtime compensation.
The lawsuit is seeking an award of damages for unpaid wages, liquidated wages, interest, attorney’s fees and court costs.
The plaintiff is represented by Charles L. Scalise and Daniel B. Ross of Ross Law Group in Austin. A jury trial is requested.
