Warren residents sue after a car pulled out in front of their vehicle, causing a collision.
Jason Richards and Misti Richards filed a lawsuit Nov. 26 in the District Court of Jefferson County against Susan Hebert and Krystal Hebert, citing negligence and negligent entrustment.
According to the complaint, Jason Richards and passenger Misti Richards were traveling north on U.S. Highway 69 in Lumberton when Krystal Hebert was stopped on the shoulder and then turned in front of the plaintiff's vehicle, causing a collision.
The plaintiffs contend Krystal Hebert acted negligently, causing injuries and damages. Susan Hebert, the vehicle's owner, negligently entrusted Krystal Hebert to operate her vehicle, according to the complaint.
Jason and Misti Richards are seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
The plaintiffs are being represented in the case by attorney Charlton P. Hornsby.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
