Woman sues after car crash

A woman is suing after allegedly being injured in a car crash.

Danielle Renee Matthews filed a lawsuit Jan. 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Derek Wayne Ray, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, on Sept. 21, 2012, Matthews was operating his motor vehicle and alleges the defendant was negligent in causing a collision. Matthews says she sustained injuries in the crash.

Matthews is seeking damages in excess of of the jurisdictional limit. She is being represented in the case by attorney B. Adam Terrell of Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell LLP.
