A Beaumont woman is suing another woman after a collision left her injured.
Darolyn Jones filed a lawsuit Jan. 13 in the Jefferson County District Court against Maria Perez, citing negligence.
The suit states Jones was driving her vehicle July 16, 2012, north on Interstate Highway 10 when Perez lost control of her vehicle, started spinning down the highway and caused the collision with Jones.
Jones claims she sustained both temporary and permanent injuries, according to the complaint.
Jones is seeking no more than $100,000 in damages, plus court costs. She is being represented by private attorney Ryan Scott.
