Galveston auto dealer sues business owner, claiming fraud

A Galveston County auto dealer is suing over claims a business owner defrauded the company of $5,702.40.

Clear Lake N. Auto Sales LP, doing business as Clear Lake Nissan, filed a lawsuit Jan. 17 in the Galveston County District Court against James Sullivan, doing business as Jasco Services, citing fraud.

The suit alleges that August through December 2012, the defendant charged the plaintiff $5,702.40 for services that were not rendered.

According to the brief, when the plaintiff confronted the defendant, he refused to reimburse the money.

Clear Lake Nissan is seeking $5,702.40, plus interest, attorney's fees, court costs and damages.

They are being represented in the case by Galveston attorney Daniel C. Pappas PC.
