Man sued after car collision on FM 365

A woman is suing after sustaining injury in a car collision.

Rebecca Nicks filed a lawsuit Jan. 31 in the Jefferson County District Court against Darrel Prosper, citing negligence.

According to the complaint on Feb. 10, 2012, Prosper failed to yield the right of way to Nicks who was driving south on FM 365 at the intersection with State Highway 124, striking the side of the vehicle and causing injury to her back and ribs.

Nicks is seeking an amount in damages to be determined by the court.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Rocky Lawdermilk.
