Two credit companies are suing a Jefferson County couple, claiming the couple stopped paying on their car loan.

Primary Financial Services LLC, as successor-in-interest to Ford Motor Credit Company LLC, filed a lawsuit Jan. 31 in the Jefferson County District Court against Billy Anders and Debra Anders, citing breach of contract.

The plaintiff alleges in the suit they financed a 2005 Mazda 6 for Anders, requiring in the contract for Anders to make payments of all principal and interest.

The contract stated any acts of default committed by Anders would result in immediate payment of the loan or repossession of the vehicle.

According to the suit, Anders allegedly discontinued payment on the loan and refused to pay the amount owed.

The plaintiff is seeking damages of $11,912.34, attorney's fees, interest and court costs.

They are being represented in the case by Dallas attorney Robert E. Jenkins of Jenkins Law Firm.
