Ineffective foot surgery leads to malpractice suit for League City doctor

A Harris County resident is suing, claiming a surgery performed on her foot was inadequate.

Brandi Aaron filed a medical malpractice lawsuit in the Galveston County District Court on Feb. 6, naming Dr. Ronald W. Lindsey as the defendant.

Aaron states she visited Dr. Lindsey in November 2011 because of an injury to her right foot.

According to the lawsuit, her injury required surgery, but her joints and fractures were not properly reduced and fixed during the surgery.

Aaron alleges the surgery fell below the applicable standard of care and is now suing for damages.

Aaron is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

She is being represented by attorney Steven R. Davis.
