A man is suing after sustaining injury while operating his motorcycle.
Stephen Almond filed a lawsuit Feb. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against Blanca Farfan, citing negligence and negligence per se.
According to the complaint, on Jan. 15, Farfan's vehicle struck the motorcycle Almond was operating. The plaintiff says the accident occurred when the defendant suddenly and without warning opened her car door, causing the plaintiff to strike the door, resulting in injuries.
Almond is seeking damages in excess of $250,000, to include $150,000 for past damages and $100,000 for future damages, plus costs.
He is being represented in the case by attorney Michael G. Martinez.
