Jefferson County motorist sued for reversing into pedestrian

A Jefferson County man is suing over claims he was injured on his property when a car backed into him.


Billy Eastwood filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 in the Jefferson County District Court against Roland Bordelon, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, on Oct. 3, Eastwood was on his property on San Diego Street in Beaumont when Bordelon reversed his car and struck the plaintiff, causing injury.

Eastwood is seeking more than $500,000 in damages.

He is being represented in the case by attorney E. Hart Green of Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell LLP.
