Allied Flare Inc. sued after vehicle strikes pedestrian

A Galveston County woman is suing over claims she was injured when a commercial vehicle struck her.


Elizabeth M. Duhon filed a lawsuit March 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Allied Flare Inc. and Allen Wayne Grice, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, on July 15, 2012, Grice was driving westbound on FM 517 as an employee of Allied Flare Inc. when he struck Duhon, a pedestrian, injuring her.

Duhon is seeking more than $200,000 in damages.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Michael Gomez and Frank W. Robertson of Jim S. Adler & Associates.
