A Texas City woman faces a lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay her energy bill.
West Bay Acquisitions LLC, assignee of Stream SPE Ltd., doing business as Stream Energy, filed suit in the Galveston County Court at Law No. 1 on March 14, naming Reshea Toatley as the defendant.
According to the suit, Toatley opened an account in January 2010 to receive services from West Bay at her Texas City apartment.
Toatley failed to pay her bill and now has an outstanding balance in the amount of $1,330.23, the suit claims. West Bay has filed suit in order to recover the unpaid balance.
West Bay is seeking $1,330.23 in damages.
She is being represented by the law firm Rausch, Sturm, Isreal, Enerson and Hornik LLC.
