A Louisiana resident is suing after being involved in a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 20.
Shaquille Hargrove filed a lawsuit March 25 in the Marshall Division of the United States Court for the Eastern District of Texas against P&B Trucking Inc. and Dennis Lynn Just, citing negligence.
The complaint states Hargrove was injured in a collision on April 5, 2012, while a passenger in a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-20. The plaintiff alleges Just collided with the plaintiff's vehicle because he failed to control his speed.
The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
He is being represented in the case by attorney Cynthia L. Carroll-Bridges of Simmons, Morris & Carroll LLC.
The case has been assigned to District Judge Rodney Gilstrap and referred to Magistrate Judge Roy Payne.
