A Texas couple is suing over claims their home was negligently constructed and is now experiencing cracks in the foundation.
John and Donna English filed a lawsuit April 14 in the Galveston County District Court against Ronald Allen Hansen, citing breach of contract and negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs hired Hansen, doing business as Sandcastle Construction, to construct a home on their property on Santiago Circle in Galveston, for which he was paid in full.
The plaintiffs allege there is now excessive cracking in the foundation.
The couple is seeking attorney's fees and damages to cover necessary repairs to make the house livable.
They are being represented in the case by attorney Daniel F. Castaneda of Buckley, White, Castaneda & Howell L.L.P.
