Driver sued after failing to yield right of way at intersection, causing collision

A Texas man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision while a passenger in a vehicle on J Avenue.

Lloyd Terry filed a lawsuit April 16 in the Galveston County District Court against Marilyn A. Davison, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, Terry was a passenger in a car owned by Diana Miller on Oct. 18, when Davison failed to yield the right of way and negligently drove her car into Miller's car at the intersection of 24th Street and J Avenue in Galveston.

Terry says he sustained injuries in the collision.

Terry is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

He is being represented in the case by attorneys Robert M. Melendez and Miguel F. Garza of Melendez Law Firm PLLC.
