A Texas woman is suing over claims she sustained injuries after a wheel and tire hit her vehicle.
Shanna W. Smith filed a lawsuit April 15 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Tire Centers LLC, claiming negligence.
Smith alleges she suffered injuries when her vehicle was struck by a wheel and tire which had fallen out of the defendant's truck on East Gentry Parkway in Tyler on June 2, causing her injuries.
According to the brief, the driver, Erik S. Miller, was not driving with care and failed to properly secure the cargo in his truck, resulting in the accident.
Smith is seeking damages, interest and court costs.
She is being represented in the case by attorneys G.R. Akin P.C. and Keith Miller.
