A lawsuit has been filed after a semi-truck collided with a motor home.
William Tisdale filed a lawsuit April 29 in the Galveston Division of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas against UV Logistics Holding Corp., UV Logistics LLC and Wayne Reeves, citing negligent hiring, negligent training, negligent supervision, retention and negligent entrustment.
The complaint states Tisdale was in his motor home Dec. 2, when he was struck by Reeves who was driving an 18-wheeler. The plaintiff states Reeves was operating the vehicle in the course and scope of his employment with the defendants.
As a result of the defendants negligence, the plaintiff sustained injuries, according to the complaint.
Tisdale is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
