Four Harris County residents are suing over claims they sustained injuries after an intoxicated man crashed into their car.
Adrian Dixon, Ariel Dixon, Wesley Lee and Amber Dixon filed a lawsuit May 2 in the Galveston Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Michal Stanak, citing negligence.
The plaintiffs claim they suffered injuries when the rear passenger side of their vehicle was hit by the defendant's vehicle while traveling north on 21st Street approaching Avenue J, causing them injuries. According to the brief, Stanak was driving while intoxicated, failed to pay attention to traffic, failed to yield the right of way and was driving too fast, resulting in the accident.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court, interest and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Don Philips.
