An electrical company is suing, claiming a construction company negligently damaged their equipment.
Centerpoint Energy Houston Electric LLC filed suit May 23 in the Galveston County County Court at Law No. 1 against D. Wagner Construction Co. Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the defendant company was performing sewer work for the village of Tiki Island on June 6, 2012, when it damaged the plaintiff's underground residential distribution wire at 123 Bora Bora Drive, Tiki Island.
Repairs of the damaged wire cost the plaintiff company approximately $6,123.07, which the defendant has failed to reimburse, the suit alleges.
The plaintiff is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limits, plus costs.
