Champion Turnaround Services sued for unpaid promissory note

A Travis County man is suing over claims a promissory note has not been paid.


Richard R. Morrison III filed a lawsuit June 3 in the Galveston County District Court against Joe Leteff, doing business as Champion Turnaround Services.


According to the complaint, the defendant issued a promissory note to the plaintiff June 24, promising to pay $165,000 plus interest to the plaintiff due Dec. 15, but has failed to pay. 


Morrison is seeking the amount owed plus interest and attorney's fees.


He is being represented in the case by attorney Carl Haddad.
