A Galveston County couple is suing over claims they were injured in a collision on Texas Farm-to-Market Road 646.
Samuel and Brandi Sanchez filed a lawsuit June 13 in the Galveston County District Court against Heather Mitzel, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs were driving on FM 646 on June 13, 2012, when Mitzel failed to yield right of way while turning out of a Walmart parking lot and struck the plaintiffs' vehicle.
The Sanchezes are seeking damages, medical expenses, loss of earnings, loss of earning capacity and property damage.
They are being represented in the case by attorney Kevin Wright of Law Office of Kevin Wright PLLC in Houston.
