An Orange County couple have filed suit after being injured in a vehicle collision.
Douglas Guidry and Leslie Guidry filed suit June 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Robert Carroll Jr., Brothers Produce Inc., Brothers Produce of Austin Inc. and Brothers Produce of Dallas Inc.
According to the complaint, on June 19, 2012, the plaintiffs were driving in the parking lot of Madison's Bar & Grill on Dowlen Road in Beaumont when their vehicle was stuck by a vehicle operated by defendant Carroll.
Carroll was operating his vehicle while in the employment of Brothers Produce at the time of the incident, which both plaintiffs suffered serious injury from, the suit states.
The plaintiffs are suing on the claims of negligence, negligence per se, negligent entrustment of a motor vehicle, vicarious liability and loss of consortium.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages, medical expenses, lost wages and costs.
They are being represented by Beaumont attorney Ryan Douglas White of Brian Loncar & Associates PC.
