A collision in Port Arthur has prompted a lawsuit.
Juwon Dancy filed a lawsuit May 20 in Jefferson County District Court against Kerry Wayne Roberts, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Dancy was driving at the intersection of Dequeen and Thomas boulevards in Port Arthur on Aug. 6, when a vehicle driven by Roberts collided with the plaintiff's vehicle.
The accident was caused by the defendant's negligence and resulted in bodily harm and medical costs for the plaintiff, according to the suit.
Dancy is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limits of the court.
The plaintiff is represented by attorney John A. Carwile.
