DALLAS – Six young lawyers have joined the Dallas-based law firm of SettlePou as associates.
The firm is known for assisting commercial creditors & lenders, insurance companies, real estate owners, health care providers and commercial businesses.
The hiring of the six new attorneys is part of SettlePou’s long-term expansion plans. The new attorneys will work in each of SettlePou’s practice groups.

Jason Brown is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Nonsubscriber Defense, and Creditor’s Rights & Bankruptcy practices at SettlePou.
He is a 2013 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and he received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

She is a 2013 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont.
Evangeline Lalangas is a member of the Health Care and Business Counsel Services practices at SettlePou.
She is a 2013 graduate of Saint Louis University with a joint J.D. and Master’s in Public Health and she received her undergraduate degree from George Washington University.
John Lynch is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Financial Services Litigation, Creditor’s Rights & Bankruptcy, and Real Estate practices at SettlePou.
He is a 2009 graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas.
Charlotte Nall is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Financial Services Litigation, and Insurance Defense practices at SettlePou. Prior to joining SettlePou, Charlotte clerked for the Honorable Justice Phil Johnon of the Supreme Court of Texas.
She was the 2012 valedictorian graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Amy Ooi is a member of the Insurance Defense, Financial Services Litigation, and Commercial Litigation practices at SettlePou. She is a 2010 graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law and she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas.
Amy also has a Master’s in Music Theory from the University of Arizona and is fluent in five languages; English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Fujian.
“In addition to our strong commitment to client service, we also have a desire to develop and mentor young attorneys,” said shareholder Cliff Wade. “These six attorneys represent our future to our clients and the Texas legal community.”
